About The Great Achievers Network

The genesis of the Great Achievers Network (GAN) can be traced back to the evangelistic work that was being carried out in various communities. It was during this time that the founder realized the unfortunate situation of many young girls in these communities. A significant number of them had either dropped out of school or were not enrolled at all due to a lack of essential school materials.

Deeply moved by this discovery, the founder was inspired to establish GAN with a clear purpose: to support academically gifted but vulnerable girls by providing them with the necessary school requisites. The aim was not only to address their immediate needs but also to improve their lives in the long term. To achieve this, GAN also planned to offer life skills training programs to equip these girls with valuable knowledge and skills.

The idea of the Great Achievers Network was born on March 27th, 2021 and in November, 2022, GAN officially came into existence as a registered non-profit organization with the Ministry of Community Development of the Republic of Zambia. The team behind GAN consists of a group of passionate and dedicated individuals who share a common vision of transforming the lives of less privileged girls in Zambia.

GAN’s primary focus is to ensure that young girls in communities have access to education, regardless of their financial circumstances. The organization aims to provide these girls with the basic educational needs such as books, pencils, pens, uniforms, and other essential supplies.

What we Do

Our primary causes

The Great Achievers Network (GAN) stands as a shining example of an NGO committed to uplifting the lives and future prospects of young girls in Zambia. With their unwavering dedication, GAN continues to make a difference by providing educational support and life skills training to empower these girls and unlock their potential.

Education

The Organisation provides scholarships, school fees, uniforms, books, stationery, sanitary pads, and other educational materials to less privileged girls who are enrolled in primary and secondary schools.

Life Skills training program

GAN organizes and provides traning and mentorship to the young girls to equip them with essential life skills such as tailoring, baking and many others.

These skills are meant to help them have a source of income aside the education they are getting.

GAN also exposes these girls to various career opportunities and role models who inspire them to pursue their dreams.
